To sustain and nurture the strengths of LAFSD so our students and community continue to thrive, we ensure a fiscally stable District and strong stewardship of our resources.

The Lafayette Business Services Department is responsible for the District's fiscal services, student nutrition services, shipping and warehousing, and support to the operations functions of the District:

Fiscal Services: budgeting, payroll, benefits, purchasing, accounts receivable/payable, parcel tax, general obligation bonds, budget advisory committee, citizens' oversight committees, risk management, contracts & agreements
Student Nutrition Services: food service program, meals contracts, National School Lunch Program qualification and reimbursement, nutrition policies
Shipping & Warehousing Services: asset management and inventory, shipping and receiving, e-waste and hazardous waste disposal
Maintenance, Operations, and Technology Guidance & Support: strategic planning, budget, and administrative support for maintenance & operations, bond, and technology programs
