Follow Up - Budget Town Halls (click for story)

The District recently hosted a series of budget town halls to share information about the financial outlook for the coming school years and to gather input from staff, families, and community members. District leaders provided an overview of the structural budget gap, discussed draft reduction proposals, and answered questions from attendees. The town halls were part of the District’s ongoing commitment to transparency and community engagement as it works to align expenses with revenue while protecting core programs.
Communication Boards

Celebrating Communication Playground Boards Across Lafayette School District (click for story)

All elementary schools in the Lafayette School District now have Communication Playground Boards, thanks to the support of the Special Education Enrichment Development Foundation (SEED). These boards promote language development and inclusive play by introducing students to new ways to communicate. The District’s Facilities Team built and installed the boards at each site.
