Lafayette schools are among the best in California - ranking in the top 5% statewide - thanks to our outstanding teachers, small class sizes, and exceptional programs in science, math, technology, reading, writing, music, art, and robotics. Our community’s long-standing support has made this excellence possible. But today, inadequate state funding and the pending expiration of our local Measure L parcel tax put at risk the quality and breadth of programs our families value most. The District has already absorbed more than $4 million in ongoing cuts and continues to do more with less.
