COVID-19 Dashboard

The chart below indicates the number of confirmed positive test results for COVID-19 for students or staff who have been on our school campus or District Office within the 48 hours prior to symptom onset or positive test, as well as the number of individuals who have been placed on either regular or modified* quarantine due to their close contact** with a COVID-19 positive individual while at school, school-supervised activities, school buses, or at work.

Only cases that potentially impact individuals’ health and wellness at our schools or offices will be reported. Individuals may be in contact with others outside our schools, so please continue to monitor Contra Costa County Health Services updates for information on community spread. Lafayette School District is not counting community-related cases (in other words, individuals who were positive cases or close contacts outside of school who have not come onto campus within close contact of other students and staff.)

Lafayette School District is committed to transparency and confidentiality. We will continue to work with our local and state public health agencies to follow proper protocols, and administration at each school site will notify their school communities when there has been a positive case or close contact. The dashboard will be updated every Monday.

*Modified Quarantine: An unvaccinated, asymptomatic student can continue to attend classes in-person if they provide negative test results twice a week. Vaccinated individuals (staff or students) are not required to quarantine after exposure if asymptomatic.

**Close Contact: Individual is within 6 feet of a positive case for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.
